Turks and Caicos Fishing

Turks and Caicos, surrounded by crystal clear aquamarine waters, is home to an abundance of fish and is a premiere destination for bonefishing, reef-fishing, deep sea fishing, sport fishing and shark fishing.

With the many differences in the underwater landscape, Turks & Caicos, as well as other Caribbean Islands, is home to a variety of fishing.

Bonefish, shallow water fish, are famed to be, pound for pound, the toughest fighting fish.  Providenciales, surrounded by over 90 miles of unspoiled flats, mangrove swamps and saltwater creeks offer anglers the opportunity to see hundreds of bone-fish on a good day. Bonefish weighing between 6-14lbs can be caught from the beach or from a boat in shallow waters around Provo.

Deep Sea Fishing

In just a short 10 minute ride from shore, you can have your first hook out for yur deep-sea fishing adventure!

The waters surrounding Provo can reach a depth of almost 3,000 feet where you can go trolling for Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and King fish during winter months (November to April) and Big Wahoo, Marlins and Yellow-fin Turn during the summer months.  Blue Marlin, Grouper, Snappers, Sharks and Barracuda are waiting for anglers of every level year round!

Shark Fishing

Looking for an exciting adventure?  Fish for Black Tip, Bull, Lemon, Tiger, Reef, Nurse sharks and more during every season from morning till dusk.  Some fishing charters offer night fishing, where you can see some of the biggest sharks as they come to the surface to feed.

From expert anglers to kids – everyone loves the opportunity to have their picture taken prior to the shark being released.

Most island charters come fully equipped with equipment, bait and refreshments.
